About the event

Planting the Yanahli Pollinator Garden

The bees are settling into their new homes, and the new pollinator garden at Yanahli Park is set to have its ribbon-cutting on May 16th. It's time to get planting! Please join us to get the garden in tip-top shape for the bees AND for the good folks joining us for the ribbon-cutting on May 16th at 7am.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Bring your own gloves, spades, hoes, or any planting/weed-pulling paraphernalia you prefer.

  • Consider wearing long sleeves since many of our weeds are thorny.

  • The meadow is in full sun, so come prepared with sunscreen, hats, something to eat/drink, and anything else you might need.
