It’s that time of year for camp and campers at Ridley 4-H! As part of our on-going MCMG and UT Ridley 4-H Center partnership, The Education Director at Ridley, has requested Master Gardener volunteer assistance.

It’s that time of year for camp and campers at Ridley 4-H!
As part of our on-going MCMG and UT Ridley 4-H Center partnership, The Education Director at Ridley, has requested Master Gardener volunteer assistance in the Pollinator Garden. Please use the gate instructions upon entering and give your name so it can be matched with the MCMG volunteer list.
All three hundred 4th - 6th grade campers are free to visit the Pollinator Garden anytime they want. There are often 5 to 20 campers in several small groups in the garden and doing the garden related activity and craft activities at one time.
The campers may have questions about the plants, insects, or another aspect of the garden. They may choose to do a craft that has been prepared at tables next to the garden, or the staff and volunteers may ask leading questions to encourage the…
