Debra McManus has been growing dahlias for 15 years, first in Rhode Island and for the past 7 years at Flower and Bee Farm in Cornersville, TN. She is the Flower and her husband Dan is the Bee. Debra became enamored of growing flowers ever since her mother threw a handful of zinnia seeds in the backyard, and they grew! Having tried and failed at many flowers since that time, such as roses and delphiniums, she has been successful with dahlias both in cooler climates and here in the hot zone.
