About the event
The meeting starts with a potluck, followed by a short business meeting and a presentation by Jeff Mingledorff on our partnership with the President James K. Polk Home & Museum as well as the Athenaeum gardens.
Jeff is a Columbia native and a retired U.S. Marine with 27 years of service. He is a Master Gardener (Class of '24) and the groundskeeper and garden advisor to both the Polk Home and the Athenaeum.
The Maury County Master Gardeners meet on the Third Tuesday of January, February, March, April, August, September, October, and November.
Visitors are always welcome.
