About the event
The meeting starts with a potluck, followed by a short business meeting and a presentation by Kent Wuflestad on how the Well Outreach grows greens using hydroponics in its Mount Pleasant facility.
Kent Wuflestad is a pharmacist with over 35 years of experience in various settings, including the most recent 30 years at Express Scripts. Kent grew up on a farm in North Dakota, where he learned the value of hard work and perseverance, as well as an appreciation for plant growth and crop rotation on a large scale. He and his wife were married and raised their family in Minnesota and moved to Spring Hill in 2021. Outside of work, Kent enjoys reading, exercising, listening to good music, and taking care of his yard and landscaping.
The Maury County Master Gardeners meet the Third Tuesday of January, February, March, April, August, September, October, and November.
Visitors are always welcome.
